Steam punk
What is steampunk?
Steampunk is a style of art. It has originated by blending Wild West or Victorian with modern technology; the overall style is very brownish with mechanical bits being visible. The time periods, which the steampunk is associated with, are post-apocalyptic or Victorian times.
Main items that are normally transformed are clothing or watches as they are somewhat easier to turn Steampunk in real life, how ever sometimes other items like weapons and even animals get turned steampunk as shown below.
Stempunk is heavily used in gaming and filming as it is easier to make steam punk items virtually, for example the games Guns of icarus (bottom) and dishonoured (top) are amazing examples of the steampunk world; dishonoured as it focuses on the Victorian era, meaning its based in the times that steampunk is based off plus it machinery and weapons you can use have that steampunky look to them. Guns of iccarus focuses more on the aviation aspect of steampunk as its a game about airship battle, the ships themselves use a steampunk colour pallet you can call it, meaning that is uses brass or copper colours with bits of white.
